The island offers different activities depending on when you want to visit Gozo. Every season has something unique to experience and All Nations is open all year around. Find out the different activities during the year.

Summer

Summer in Gozo means sun-drenched days perfect for exploring its stunning beaches and embracing the laid-back island lifestyle. Beyond the beach, why not take a scenic boat ride along the coast, or dive into the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters?

For adventure seekers, snorkeling is a thrilling option. A boat trip from Mġarr to the nearby island of Comino is a must. Comino, with its dramatic limestone cliffs and mysterious deep caves, has a history of sheltering pirates and served as a backdrop for the classic "Count of Monte Cristo."

Diving enthusiasts can explore Gozo’s renowned dive sites and historic shipwrecks. Local dive schools offer expert guidance, ensuring a safe and unforgettable glimpse into the vibrant underwater world.

Spring

Spring reveals Gozo at its most beautiful. The island bursts into life with rolling hills cloaked in burgundy and gold, dotted with clover and haystacks. It’s the perfect season for leisurely coastal walks and foraging for wild asparagus—a true feast for the senses.

With the beaches nearly deserted, spring offers a tranquil retreat for soaking up the sun and enjoying the still-mild weather, perfect for a seaside picnic, even if the water's too chilly for a swim.

The adventurous can take advantage of Gozo’s exciting climbing routes, making the most of the comfortable temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. Spring in Gozo isn’t just a season; it’s an experience.

Autumn

Autumn is a splendid time to visit Gozo, offering a serene escape from the bustling summer crowds. The season brings milder weather, perfect for enjoying the island's crystal-clear waters well into November, without the scorching sun.

This cooler period is also ideal for those looking to catch some waves; as the winds pick up, they create perfect conditions for surfing along the dynamic coastlines of Gozo. For the land lovers, autumn transforms Gozo into a hiker's paradise.

The drop in temperature allows for comfortable daytime treks, where you can explore winding trails that reveal the island's rugged beauty. Meander through ancient olive groves, ascend the scenic path to the dramatic Amfi Theatre of Ta' Pinu hill, or explore the historic nooks of the imposing citadel.

Each step unveils a piece of Gozo’s rich tapestry, making it an ideal season for adventurers and tranquility seekers alike.

Winter

Mild sunny winters are one of Gozo’s many blessings. If it is cold, dull or snowing anywhere else in Europe, you can count on Gozo for warmth and bright days.

The island can be the perfect winter destination with a choice of health-restoring activities. Climbing, hiking, biking, surfing, or simply walking in the countryside are ideal from October till April when the weather is mild and not prohibitively hot.

For the less adventurous, unwinding in one of the spa facilities around the island is pure therapy for the mind and soul. Spas offer a wide range of treatments and therapies from across the world, including saunas, jacuzzis, steam rooms and indoor swimming pools.

One can also try the oriental hammam experiences and the authentic Indian Ayurveda, promising rejuvenation and deep relaxation. Yoga, pilates and aquaerobics are also available. Gozo still brims with activities during the winter season.
